May 13, 2018 Seventh Sunday of Easter
Collect for Seventh Sunday of Easter: O God, the King of glory, you have exalted your only Son Jesus Christ with great triumph to your kingdom in heaven: Do not leave us comfortless, but send us your Holy Spirit to strengthen us, and exalt us to that place where our Savior Christ has gone before; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.
Sunday School: Sunday School is held each Sunday at 10:00 am in the downstairs classroom. Sunday School is open to all children from Kindergarten to 5th grade.
THE LAST SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS WILL BE HELD ON SUNDAY, MAY 20TH BEFORE STARTING THE SUMMER BREAK.
SUMMER SERVICE TIME CHANGE: From May 27th through September 2nd, our weekly Sunday service start time will change to 9:30 am for this summer period. We will return to the 10:00 am service start time on September 9th.
Weekly Community Social Networking Event: Every Monday from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, we hold a discussion group led by David Nejako. This is open to anyone from the parish or the community who would like to join in a group to discuss different subjects. The topic for discussion on Monday, May 14th is “Buddhism”. Anyone who would like to connect with others in a discussion group setting is invited.
Rummage Sale: On May 19th, we will hold a Sping/Summer themed Rummage Sale as a fundraiser for the church. You may begin gathering and bringing donated items to the church. All items should be in good, resalable condition. NO CLOTHING except Children’s from infant to size 2-3.
We will be accepting all season knickknacks, kitchen items, children’s toys, games and children’s books (NO adult books). We will also accept indoor and outdoor furniture but must check with a committee member first. NO NON-WORKING ELECTRONICS — this includes the clock radio where the radio works but the clock doesn’t! NO TV’s, NO COMPUTERS. All items will be collected in the designated basement room. Any questions, please contact Caren Puschak-Craft at firstname.lastname@example.org or 610-584-4414. Please have all items for the sale at the church by noon on Friday, May 18th.
Caring Committee: “As the Father has loved me so I have loved you”—loving words of our Savior. We have people in our Church who need our help, time and love. If you can take someone on an errand (grocery store, pharmacy, etc.) or give them a ride to church, please call David Nejako at 215-767-6333. Thank you for reaching out to help members of our church family.
Holy Trinity’s Sandwich Ministry – Each Friday Holy Trinity volunteers hand out sandwiches to hungry folks at the corner of 4th and Broad Streets at 11:00 am. Questions? Please call the church office at 215-855-4431.
Men’s Breakfast Group: All men are invited to attend the monthly Men’s Breakfast Group, which meets at 8:00 a.m. the last Saturday of every month at the West Main Diner in Lansdale. If you are interested in joining us, please contact Ray Medlin email@example.com.
Women’s Breakfast: All women are invited to attend the monthly Women’s Breakfast which meets at 9:30 am the last Saturday of every month at Franconi’s Restaurant in North Wales. If you are interested in joining us or have questions, please contact JoAnn Ferrara at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 267-410-1519.
Manna Outreach: The children of Lansdale thank you for your contributions to Manna on Main Street. Please continue to donate cupped fruit, peanut butter, jelly, canned tuna, ham and salmon as well as snack bars and crackers. Please remember to check the expiration dates. Also, remember cat and dog food, both wet and dry, is also collected for needy families with pets.

WIC donations: WIC of Lansdale on Broad Street is in need of diapers and diaper wipes for their clients. We will be collecting diaper and wipes donations in the box in the Narthex and forwarding to WIC.
