August 27, 2017 Pentecost 12
Collect for Pentecost 12: Grant, O merciful God, that your Church, being gathered together in unity by your Holy Spirit, may show forth your power among all peoples, to the glory of your Name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
Welcome: This Sunday we welcome The Rev. Christina Nord as our part-time priest-in-charge. Pastor Christina will be getting to know everybody and putting out a schedule of her times in the office during the next couple of weeks. Meanwhile, if you have a pastoral care need, please contact the Church Office. We will be holding an official welcome for Pastor Christina during our Rally Day festivities on Sunday, September 10th.

Weekly Community Social Networking Event: Every Monday from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, we hold a discussion group in St. Margaret’s Hall led by David Nejako. Anyone who would like to connect with others in a discussion group setting is invited.
Adult Bible Study: The Vestry has elected to begin a weekly adult Bible study. At the Vestry’s request, The Rev. Alan Broadhead will lead this study. It will be held on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 pm. All are welcome to attend.

Sign up in the narthex to provide food, attend the dinner or provide funds to purchase food. Plan to join us for a rewarding and fun evening!
